We had to put Daisy to sleep on
2/17/03 due to cancer. This was the sweetest companion that any family could
ever dream of having. She was a joy to be around & had the kindest
& most caring disposition of any animal or human that we have ever known
(she literally would not harm a fly). Her biography & her photographs will
forever remain on this site as a testimony
to her & we know for certain that she will be waiting at the
"Bridge" for us when our time comes to join her.
We miss her so very much! Because of Daisy, Linda has created
"Memory
Pendants"© which are dichroic glass pendants with your pet's crematory
ashes fused between the layers.
I was born at Breakadawn Kennels located in Mossy rock, WA on Sept. 2, 1994 and 9 weeks later my human parents, Linda and Chuck Huffman brought me to their home in Everett, WA, named me "Special One Daisy" after my Boxer mom and made me a member of their family. I whined and cried at night for several days and drove Linda & Chuck crazy, but then I finally realized that this was a really neat place to be. They gave me a big fenced yard to run in, plenty of treats, walks in a nearby park and lots and lots of love and a great big box of stuffed toys.....so....... I stopped whining and crying and became a good little girl (except for the time that I chewed up some of the woodwork in my parents 108 yr. old home and I'll never forget the time that I tore the heck out of one of my dog beds and what about some of those magazines and books that they used to leave laying around......).
Linda, my mom, is an Internationally acclaimed Artist, Cartoonist & Educator and has her own web site called L. Huffman Studios where she shows some of her Kiln-formed Glass Art, Jewelry & Oil Paintings. If any of you want to tell us about yourselves, get hold of Duke at huffmanstudios@comcast.net. Well, I guess that is enough about me, but please check out the rest of our site and Duke would really appreciate it if you would let him know what you think of our little piece of cyberspace or, if you wish, just e-mail him to say hi and tell him what your favorite toy is.
